Central Valley Tank of California, Inc. fabricates a wide variety of silos, hoppers, bins and dry products tanks for agricultural (Ag) and industrial applications like cement, concrete, plastic media and plastic pellets storage. Agricultural applications include storage of grains, corn, animal feed, fertilizer, and a variety of other dry storage needs. Silos, hoppers, bins and dry storage tanks are frequently fabricated from stainless steel and carbon steel. Client applications have included silos, hoppers, bins and dry storage tanks for grain, seed, meal or feed and fertilizer storage tanks for growers. Special accessories we integrate with dry products tanks include flow controls, legs, skirts, unloaders, piping, mixers, agitators, heating coils, heating jackets, cooling coils, cooling jackets, insulation, inlets, outlets, drains, access hatches, man doors, manway access doors, tank shell anchors, seismic restraints, and welded tank nozzles with 150 lb to 3000 lb flanges. Hoppers are typically square with four walls and a 45 degree angled bottom with a 12" x 12" opening and a pull plate for dispensing dry material. Silos are typicaly verticle round tanks. Dry products tanks can have dished bottoms, rounded bottoms, and cone bottomes from 15 degree to 90 degree cone angles. Tanks can be horizontal and vertical, above ground and below ground.

A recently fabricated industrial silo was designed for plastic media with a cone shaped bottom and 4 legs. The gravity feed from the bottom cone supplied plastic fabrication machinery with the raw plastic media.
